Tip of the month October 2011

We catch cold viruses easily via contact as well as via droplets in the air. Wash your hands regularly when out and as soon as you arrive home before you spread the germs into your own home. Cover your mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing, throw away the tissues and wash hands. Antibiotics do not work for viruses, so when you have a cold, have plenty of rest, fluids, and healthy food including plenty of fruit and vegetables. Take vitamin C and echinacea to boost immunity. If you catch every virus going, your immunity is low and you need to take steps to optimise it.
