Health benefits of garlic: Garlic contains B vitamins, it is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, blood purifier, it also helps to regulate blood sugar levels and blood pressure. Garlic has antibiotic properties as well as hormone balancing properties. Phytoestrogens in garlic can help perimenopausal and menopausal women. Raw and cooked garlic have different properties, hence it is good to eat both. If you dislike the taste (or smell!) there are many odour free supplements available out there. Be well!
